Spring cleaning your closet? The sock that’s lost its match or the ratty old t-shirt can be recycled. Threadcycle is a program that makes recycling old clothes easy. Items that we may think are useless are made into wiping rags, home insulation, sound proofing, pet bedding and insulation for automobiles and appliances.
To recycle, just drop off used items at locations through Seattle and King County. Locations accept clothes and linens in any condition except wet, mildewed, or contaminated with hazardous material.
