‘Puget Sound Starts Here Day’ with the Seattle Mariners set for Sunday, May 21

Join Bert the Salmon and celebrate clean water with the M’s

It’s going to be sunny and warm on Sunday, May 21 – perfect for spending the day with friends and family at Safeco Field to cheer on the Mariners and show your love for clean water at Puget Sound Starts Here Day.

Everyone who purchases game tickets at mariners.com/pugetsound will get special prices that are discounted up to $23 off comparable seats, plus a free Seattle Mariners/Puget Sound Starts Here baseball cap. Note that the special discount will be applied at the end of the ticket transaction.

The first 10,000 moms through the gates will get a free Mariner’s beach tote, while all kids under 14 will get a free Mariner’s gym bag. And everyone sitting in the special “Puget Sound Starts Here” section of the stands can join Bert the Salmon, King County’s clean water mascot, in doing the “wave” for clean water.

Puget Sound Starts Here is a public awareness campaign connecting more than 750 organizations across the Puget Sound region’s 12 counties. Partners in this campaign include federal, state and local governments, tribes and non-governmental organizations dedicated to protecting Puget Sound.
